Porto Carras Grand Resort is located only 120km away from the city of Thessaloniki (the second largest city in Greece) and 75 minutes drive from Thessaloniki’s International Airport "Macedonia" (SKG). The following options are available for getting to the conference hotel from the airport: i) Reserve a taxi via Theocharidou Travel Agency or another local company. ii) Rent a car (some travel sites, such as Priceline, provide a weekly fare that may be cheaper than taxi). Perhaps the cheapest and most adventurous option is to travel by bus. (1) First take the bus 79 from the airport, then at IKEA change to bus 36 to the bus-station of Halkidiki in Thessaloniki (it is separate from the main bus-station).
